
Intern in Kenya in an Occupational Therapy placement and help make a tangible difference in the lives of disadvantaged children putting your studies to good use. Work alongside medical professionals to help treat patients with a range of special needs including orthopedic, neurological, and psychiatric conditions.
Your role on the internship will be to help assess patients and offer guidance to help improve their cognitive, physical, or motor skills. Your daily tasks may include assisting patients with coordination training, speech training, or even basic handwriting development.

You can also conduct workshops for the patients, teachers, and local care givers. These workshops have the purpose of helping to educate & implementing simple exercises.
Games can be carried out on a daily basis in the homes or centers to provide extra stimulation for the patients
